Rewise Learning has teamed up with Airbus Defence and Space to take STEM learning into the stars with its Lift Off with STEM workshops. This hands-on STEM-education programme for KS3 learners, aims to ignite curiosity for space exploration and inspire uptake of STEM subjects to train our future space and science workforce. Our joint mission is to show learners why space exploration is vital and how STEM-skills underpin our greatest discoveries and newest adventures. We have created a hands-on STEM kit that gives students the chance to build replica ExoMars Rovers, based on the actual Mars Rover designed by Airbus. These workshops are delivered by our STEM outreach teams in schools across the country. To further increase the scope and reach of the project beyond our workshops, we have also created a digital learning hub, allowing educators to access training resources, so that anyone who wants to deliver space-themed lessons will be able to do so.
What we did
