"The learning program is an extraordinary opportunity for learning and personal development. Through this program, young people are given the tools to better understand the world around them and the opportunity to learn from authentic experiences, guided by passionate and dedicated mentors. Students accumulate new knowledge and skills, become more confident in their abilities, learn to manage resources and time, work in a team and improve their communication skills."

In 2023, Rewise Learning launched a community involvement programme centred around Liberty Steel in  Romania. This was created as part of the GFG Foundation Student Programme, marking the start of a European STEM and environmentally friendly journey. Rewise returned to work with GFG in 2024, creating a special, authorised educational programme that promoted environmental sustainability, 'green' steel manufacturing, STEM disciplines, and personal motivation. The goal of this STEM challenge was for young people to build their own interactive model steel plants and learn about the different departments and career paths available. The success of this project resulted in the continuation of the partnership into 2025.

  • Next, learners built the steel plants of the future, including green technologies

  • Created functioning light-up models

  • A focus placed on sustainability, recycling and reusing our resources to prevent waste and avoid it going to landfill

‘‘ Working with Rewise is an amazing opportunity for us at the GFG Foundation because they give us what we need within the program and help us reach the aims and ambitions of the foundation. Young people need to know that they are heard; they need to know that they are special. ’’
