The Circuit Street STEM kit will be used by learners to create an interactive and visual depiction of the electrical grid. This practical exercise offers an engaging method to investigate the intricacies of electrical systems. A thorough review of UK Power Networks is covered in the workshop, along with insights into a range of career options in the sector. Attendees will gain knowledge of the many cable kinds and signs that are necessary for network maintenance and operation, as well as the vital personal protective equipment (PPE) utilised by specialists. Upon completion of the event, attendees will gain an enhanced understanding of the intricate workings of the electrical grid and the vital function that network operators perform in ensuring uninterrupted and secure power supply.
